Those who truly dream, act

Dreams and entrepreneurship were the focus of the Mantua meetup of the DREAMERS Community. Founded by Alessandro Marconcini and Marco Pettenon, the project brings together over 2,000 young people under 40, with the goal of fostering real dialogue between industry and the new generations.

More than 100 young men and women from our region took part in the event with Chairman Antonio Marcegaglia, who shared his entrepreneurial journey and answered many questions and curiosities from the Dreamers.

“The essence of entrepreneurship,” explained the Chairman, “lies in the ability of an entrepreneur to envision the future and commit fully to helping shape it. A true dreamer doesn’t just dream it – they must be able to bring it to life, acting with patience, humility, discipline, and attention to detail.”

He also encouraged young people, especially today, “in such an uncertain, volatile, and confusing world, to remain curious, to cultivate analytical and critical thinking skills, to strengthen their knowledge and expertise, stepping outside their comfort zone with courage and vitality – and never allowing themselves to be discouraged by difficulties or failures”
